Why She Chose to Teach

Becoming a Mantra Fitness instructor wasn’t just a career choice for Juliana—it was a calling. Here’s what led her to this path:

“I’m an artist by trade, but I’ve always loved being active. After I had my first baby, I realized that working in fitness was something I would love doing. I got my personal trainer certification and quickly became certified to teach Mantra’s style of fitness. I’ve taught a few different styles of fitness, but pilates is by far my favorite… I guess that’s why I’ve been happily doing it for 10 years now. “


Why She Loves Pilates

For Juliana, Mantra workouts are more than just a workout; it’s a source of joy and well-being. Here’s what keeps her hooked:

“Mantra’s workouts are for me, like a slow visual dance. I love the time under tension because it allows the visual artist in me to see the changes I’m working hard for. When I teach a class, I try to help clients visualize the breakdown of each move. I try to paint a picture that helps clients click with the method and each move.”
