Meet Our Studio Managers!
At Mantra Fitness, we pride ourselves on not only providing top-notch Pilates classes but also fostering a supportive and welcoming community. This wouldn’t be possible without our studio managers. Today, we’re excited to introduce you to our four amazing studio managers who are the backbone of our operations and the heart of our community.
Maria Stege – Mantra Tampa
- Background
Maria has been with us for 3 years, bringing a wealth of experience and passion for her clients at Mantra. With a background in dance and traditional pilates, she found the workouts at Mantra were exactly what she needed to maintain the intensity in her training. Her classes are known to be challenging yet highly effective, and she seamlessly manages our Tampa studio. - Day in the Life
A typical day for Maria starts with greeting members with a warm smile, whether that’s as she begins teaching her classes or standing behind the desk during class check-in. Maria is always finding ways to ensure everything runs smoothly, from managing class schedules and maintaining studio cleanliness, to planning enjoyable events for clients in the coming months. She is always available to answer questions and provide support to both staff and members. - Favorite Mega Move
“My favorite Mega move is the Giant Single Leg Squat. It’s a fantastic way to work the entire leg, plus the extra core work as you try to hold yourself up on the back platform!” - Personal Touch
“I love creating an environment where everyone feels welcome, supported, and genuinely motivated to continue on their wellness journey. I enjoy pushing clients to accomplish things they didn’t necessarily think they could do. For a lot of people group fitness classes can feel very intimidating, and I think at Mantra, we do a really great job with making everyone feel like they have a community of people that want to see them succeed as well! Seeing our members achieve their fitness goals is incredibly rewarding and something that also pushes me to be the best I can be!”
Dani Wallace – Mantra Sarasota
- Background
With a background in Lagree Fitness, Dani has been a pillar at our Sarasota studio for over 4 years (2016-2020 then March 2024-present). She brings a unique blend of enthusiasm and expertise to the team. - Day in the Life
Dani starts the day early, preparing the studio for the first classes and ensuring everything is in place. She enjoys connecting with members and motivating the team to deliver exceptional service. - Favorite Pilates Move
“The basics are my go-to moves! My favorite would have to be French Twist. Its advanced yet to the point and a great oblique exercise that gets your heart rate up” - Personal Touch
“I strive to create a space where everyone feels encouraged and supported, whether they’re new to Pilates or seasoned practitioners.”
Paige Johnson – Mantra South Orange County
- Background
Paige has a deep passion for health and fitness, which is evident in her leadership style at our South Orange County studio. Paige has a background in competitive gymnastics and injury prevention. With degrees in kinesiology and exercise physiology, she brings a professional yet friendly approach to the role. - Day in the Life
A day in Paige’s life involves a mix of administrative tasks, class instruction, and member interactions. She ensures the studio runs like a well-oiled machine, always with a smile. - Favorite Pilates Move
“I love it all! I really do! I love the workout as a whole, because I see the benefits in not only strengthening the body, but flexibility and mobility purposes. I am in a better mood after I get a Mantra workout in.” - Personal Touch
