Transformation Tuesday with Katie McFarland

Happy Tuesday & Happy Spring!

Here at Mantra, we are excited that spring has sprung & love that our evening classes finish and the sun is still shining.

Continuing our Transformation Tuesday, meet Katie McFarland! She is a part of our Tampa family and we're happy to showcase her this week.

1. When did you start working out at Mantra? 
One year ago in April, three months after my son was born. I was looking for a low impact workout to help me get back into shape.  

2. What keeps you inspired?
Realizing how far I've come from my first class. I remember thinking, there was no way I'd ever learn all the names of the positions or hold a lunge for two minutes! The results after one month were amazing and I was hooked! 


3. What are the biggest changes in you? 
Seeing muscles in my abdomen & hips that I never thought I'd have again after my pregnancy. Beyond the physical challenge -- Mantra is mentally challenging. It has helped me believe that I can be that strong.

4. How do you maintain a healthy diet?
Breakfast everyday. Balance and moderation -- no deprivation! 

5. Outside of Mantra, what are your favorite hobbies?
Spending time with my husband, my 14 month old son and our two English Bulldogs; day drinking with friends and reading.
